March is National Frozen Food Month!
The National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association (NFRA) has been coordinating the March National Frozen Food Month promotion for over 25 years because it's been proven that promotion in the frozen food department works! For a majority of the last ten years, the frozen department dollar growth during March has outpaced sales.
This year NFRA is making the most of the resurging popularity of eating at home with their Bringing Families Together with Easy Home Meals promotion. Visit the Easy Home Meals website for more information as well as a chance to win $10,000 in their Easy Home Meals Sweepstakes.
March is National Nutrition Month®
"National Nutrition Month® is a nutrition education and information campaign sponsored annually by the American Dietetic Association. The campaign is designed to focus attention on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits. NNM also promotes ADA and its members to the public and the media as the most valuable and credible source of timely, scientifically based food and nutrition information."
Please go to the ADA website by clicking here for more information and nutrition quizzes. Be sure to read the ADA exchanges of our Fruitfull® wrappers for nutrition information about each flavor! |

March 2nd - Read Across America Day "NEA's Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2, the birthday of beloved children's author Dr. Seuss.
In cities and towns across the nation, teachers, teenagers, librarians, politicians, actors, athletes, parents, grandparents, and others develop NEA's Read Across America activities to bring reading excitement to children of all ages. Governors, mayors, and other elected officials recognize the role reading plays in their communities with proclamations and floor statements. Athletes and actors issue reading challenges to young readers. And teachers and principals seem to be more than happy to dye their hair green or be duct-taped to a wall if it boosts their students' reading."
