Instructions: 1. Place one pineapple bar and the water in a saucepan and boil. When mixture is boiling, carefully remove stick with tongs and discard. Add rice to water mixture, stir, turn off heat and cover for 5 minutes. 2. Melt margarine in a frying pan. Add mushrooms and onions and sauté. Add basil and remaining 2 pineapple bars. Cook over medium heat until bars are melted. Remove sticks and pour over rice. Stir and add salt and pepper to your taste. Top with cooked fresh vegetable of your choice, such as fresh asparagus.
